Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank has made it clear that Richarlison is staying put. The Brazil striker also wants to remain at the club.
Speculation has surrounded his future in recent days, especially with Spurs holding talks to sign Eberechi Eze. However, with Eze now heading to Arsenal, Frank has doubled down on his stance.
He stressed that Richarlison is central to his plans at Spurs.
“Right now, Richarlison is my starting No 9. He scored two fantastic goals, had two fantastic games and is the Brazil No 9,” the gaffer remarked.
“He’s a fantastic player, he wants to stay, I want to keep him and there’s been no talks about anything else.”
The forward’s determination to stay, combined with his coach’s support, gives Spurs stability in attack as they gear up for the new season.
