Bayern Munich sign Morocco star Saibari from PSV Eindhoven

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Morocco international Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, strengthening their attacking options with the arrival of one of Europe’s exciting forwards.

The 25-year-old is currently representing Morocco at the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada, but his next chapter will begin in Germany once the tournament concludes.

Saibari will leave Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven for Munich after agreeing a long-term contract with Bayern that runs until June 30, 2031.

The forward has been handed the number 34 shirt as he prepares to join the Bundesliga giants.

The move represents another major step in Saibari’s career after making his mark in the Netherlands, where his performances for PSV earned him recognition at both club and international level.

Bayern believe the Moroccan attacker fits their style of football and can bring creativity, energy and attacking quality to Vincent Kompany’s squad as the club continues its pursuit of major trophies.

Speaking after completing his move, Saibari revealed his excitement about joining one of the biggest clubs in world football and highlighted his ambition to win silverware at the Allianz Arena.

“As a child, you dream of signing a contract with a club like FC Bayern – everybody knows it’s one of the world’s biggest clubs,” he said.

“FC Bayern compete for the biggest titles like the Champions League every year, and I want to win as many trophies as possible here. FC Bayern’s play suits me, I can play my own style of football here, and I’ll work hard every day to help the team.

“Coach Vincent Kompany played a key role in my decision – I’m looking forward to working with him.”

The forward also believes Bayern’s football philosophy will allow him to showcase his strengths while continuing to develop at the highest level.

Saibari arrives at Bayern with international experience and the confidence gained from competing in top European competitions with PSV.

His ability to operate in attacking positions gives Kompany another versatile option as Bayern look to compete for domestic and continental honours.

With his World Cup campaign still ongoing, Saibari will now aim to finish the tournament strongly before beginning life in Munich.

The Moroccan star’s arrival marks Bayern’s continued commitment to adding talented players capable of making an impact immediately while also contributing to the club’s long-term ambitions.
