Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has stated that the club is not interested in acquiring the services of on-loan Napoli forward Victor Osimhen in the summer.
The 53-year old dismissed transfer speculations linking the Super Eagles striker to the Italian giants, emphasizing that there was no plans to sign the forward.

“I am not interested in Osimhen,” he told reporters. “The rumours that you read in the Italian media are only to put pressure on us. Juventus does not want the player.”

Osimhen’s rising stock
Victor Osimhen has impressed at Turkish side Galatasaray since joining on loan from Napoli last summer, making him one of the most coveted forwards in Europe.
The 26-year old has scored 33 goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances in all competitions, with the Turkish giants in the hunt for a league and cup double.
Osimhen’s 24 league goals is three more Poland forward Krzysztof Piaktek of Istanbul Basaksehir, who has 21 league goals.
The Super Eagles star recently broke his personal record for goals in Europe top-flight league with his 33rd for Galatasaray, surpassing the 31 he bagged for Napoli during their title winning campaign in 2022/23 season.

Where will Osimhen end?
The Nigerian striker has improved his stocks with his outstanding season, with major European clubs jostling to secure his services.
Osimhen himself favors a move to the English Premier League and with Napoli coach Antonio Conte adamant on adding the former Lille man to his team, a move away from Naples is on the cards this summer.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all expressed interest in signing the striker, although his huge wage could be an obstacle in his move to any of the three clubs.
