Harry Kane says Bayern Munich will be fully prepared ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal clash against Real Madrid next month.
The German champions will face European rivals Madrid in the last eight of this season’s competition, following their 10-2 mauling of Atalanta in the Round of 16.
Bayern Munich recorded an emphatic 6-1 win in the first leg in Italy last week and were 4-1 winners in Wednesday’s second leg affair at the Allianz Arena.
Speaking after the result, Kane who reached 50 career Champions League goals, believes his side are not intimidated by any opponent and will be ready to face the record European champions.
“We don’t fear anyone,” Kane said, sending a strong message to Real Madrid.
“We know it’ll be tough, but with the confidence from this game and the season so far, we just need to keep doing what we’re doing.”
The England captain netted twice on Wednesday night as Bayern Munich sealed progress to the last eight round.
Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before scoring a spectacular goal moments later to double his side’s advantage.
Youngster Lennart Karl added a third in the first half, before Luis Diaz continued his impressive campaign with their fourth of the game in the second half.
Atalanta grabbed a late consolation in the clash, crashing out on a 10-2 aggregate result.
“Whenever you play Real Madrid in the Champions League, you have to expect a tough opposition, you have to be ready for a fight,” Kane added.
“You have to be ready to try and play in a certain way and we’ll be ready for that.”
Bayern Munich will face Real Madrid in a blockbuster quarterfinal encounter next month, with the winner advancing to face either Paris Saint-Germain or Liverpool in the last four.
