Liverpool have confirmed the appointment of Hannah Pym as senior vice-president for marketing and digital, in a move aimed at accelerating the club’s global growth across media, fan engagement and commercial operations.
Pym will oversee Liverpool’s award-winning marketing, media, product, technology, fan services and experience departments, strengthening the club’s long-term strategy to expand its international brand footprint.
She joins from The Hut Group, where she held a senior executive position and played a key role in driving digital expansion, brand development and product innovation across multiple markets.
Speaking on her arrival at Anfield, Pym highlighted the scale of the opportunity and her ambition to contribute to the club’s continued evolution.
“It’s a huge honour to join Liverpool Football Club, one of the most iconic and recognised brands in world sport,” she said.
“I’m incredibly excited to lead the talented teams across the club’s marketing and digital functions, and the opportunity to contribute to the next chapter of this great club’s growth and innovation is something truly special. I can’t wait to get started.”
Liverpool’s chief commercial officer Ben Latty welcomed the appointment, underlining Pym’s experience across digital transformation and brand strategy.
“We’re delighted to welcome Hannah to LFC at such an important time for the club’s continued growth.
“Her experience across marketing, media, digital and technology makes her an outstanding addition to our leadership team.
“Hannah will play a key role in leading the teams who are driving forward our ambitious plans for growth across the club, while continuing to innovate across our marketing, media and digital platforms.”
Pym will officially begin her role later this month, working from the club’s Liverpool headquarters as part of its expanding executive leadership structure.
