Manchester United defender Victor Lindeloef could join Serie A champions Inter Milan when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Sweden international Lindelof is one of the longest-serving players at Manchester United, as he has been at the club since 2017, after his €35 million transfer from Benfica.
The 30-year-old center-half has had a topsy-turvy stay at Manchester United, as he had a great start to life, but has regressed in recent seasons due to loss of form and injury problems.
Lindelof’s contract at Manchester United is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, but Manchester United are not interested in extending his deal. This is even as the club is expected to undergo some changes in the coming months, following the recent appointment of Ruben Amorim as coach.
According to Transfer News Live, Lindelof is expected to join Inter Milan permanently at the expiration of his contract.
The Sweden international will be looking to get more game time under his belt, as the 2026 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner. Inter Milan are currently one of the contenders for the Serie A title, and he could get an easy landing if he joins the club.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have already been linked with Portuguese defender Tomas Araujo, and could move to sign him in January.
