Major League Soccer club Inter Miami have made Manchester City captain Kevin De Bruyne their top target for the next transfer window.
Belgian superstar De Bruyne has been crucial to Pep Guardiola’s success since he joined Manchester City. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder has registered 104 goals and 171 assists in for the Cityzens.
However, in recent seasons, De Bruyne has struggled to reach his notoriously high levels. Over the past two seasons, the Belgian has missed 51 games for club and country due to different injuries.
Since last season, Manchester City’s dependence on De Bruyne has been dropped. Especially as Phil Foden sparjed to light. This season, the Belgian has already missed ten games, and he hasn’t looked like his usually brilliant self.
De Bruyne’s contract is supposed to expire at the end of the campaign, but Manchester City have not exactly looked interested in handing him an extension.
Now according to Transfer News Live, US-based side Inter Miami are keeping tabs on the 33-year-old’s situation, as they want to sign him next summer.
The MLS Eastern Conference champions already have a star-studded team, as they parade players like Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Luis Suarez, and Sergio Busquets. The addition of De Bruyne could make them them the biggest team in the MLS.
However, the MLS is not the only option for De Bruyne, as the top Saudi Arabian clubs will be monitoring his situation and could swoop in with a big money offer.
