Saka drops huge hint on Arsenal future

Arsenal star winger Bukayo Saka has hinted at a long term stay at the North London club after insisting that he wants to win all there is to win in football while on the books at the Emirates.

Saka returned from a serious hamstring injury last week and marked his comeback with a goal in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over fellow Londoners Fulham.

While his comeback may have arrived too late to reignite Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge, the prospect of European glory remains within reach.

Arguably the most important player in the ranks of the Gunners, the 23-year-old has two years remaining on his current deal which is said to be worth up to £300,000 per week. However, the club are reportedly eager to begin talks over an extension.

Despite speculation over stalled contract negotiations, the Gunners youth system product has dismissed any concerns, insisting he remains relaxed about the situation.

“For me, I want to win and I want to win wearing this badge,” Saka said on Monday.

“I think it is pretty clear – the fans know how much I love them and you saw when I came on on Tuesday [against Everton], I think they love me back, so it is a good relationship. So I am really happy to be here and I’m just focused on winning.

“I don’t think anyone is really in a rush, I have got two years left on my contract so it is pretty relaxed. Everyone knows my thoughts and I’ve let you guys know as well so I don’t think there’s any rush really.”
