Brighton’s Jack Hinshelwood signs new deal until 2029

Brighton & Hove Albion have secured the long-term future of rising midfielder Jack Hinshelwood after the academy graduate penned a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029.

The 20-year-old’s previous agreement was set to run until 2028, but Brighton have now moved swiftly to extend his stay, underlining their confidence in the young midfielder’s continued development.

Hinshelwood’s journey with the Seagulls has been a remarkable one. Having first joined the club as an eight-year-old, the midfielder has steadily progressed through the ranks before establishing himself within the senior setup.

This season, the England youth international has begun to make his presence felt in the Premier League.

He has already made 11 league starts, contributing one goal and two assists while gaining valuable experience at the top level.

Consequently, the new deal represents another important step in Brighton’s commitment to developing homegrown talent and rewarding emerging players who continue to impress in England’s top flight.

For Hinshelwood, the contract extension also signals the club’s belief in his potential as he looks to build on his growing influence and play a bigger role in Brighton’s future campaigns.
