English Premier League club Arsenal are planning to test West Ham’s resolve with a €100 million bid for Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus.
Arsenal have been looking to improve their final third since last season to aid their bid to win some silverware.
Last summer, the Gunners were linked with names like Ademola Lookman, Ivan Toney, and Raphinha, but they failed to sign them and settled for former Manchester City star Raheem Sterling instead.
This season, their attack has not been as sharp as before, as they have suffered injuries to key players like Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
Due to to their struggles, the former Premier League Champions are now looking to spend big on new attacking talents.
According to Transfer News Live, Arsenal are planning to offer West Ham €100 million for Kudus. The Ghanaian attacker joined the Hammers from Ajax in 2023 for €43 million. And since his move, he has registered 16 goals and seven assists in 55 appearances.
Kudus has been one of most reliable attackers at West Ham, and his performances have often left fans with the thoughts that he has to move to a bigger club.
If the Gunners can seal the move, it could potentially propel them to silverware. Gabriel Martinelli, who has featured predominantly from the left wing has not inspired much joy with his performances. But Kudus has shown that he can give any club a big lift.
Nonetheless, if the deal does not work out, there are still other top wingers like Ademola Lookman, Johan Bakayoko and Bryan Mbeumo that Arsenal can look at.
